Here are the directions to the ICPFR. Don't forget to bring your entry fee next Saturday. Bring your friends, etc and come sail.
The address is 4050 Clora Dorsey Road,
 
Take Rt 50 S to TR on Sanderstown Road which is a half mile or so south of Hole in the Wall.
 
Sanderstown Road turns into Island Creek Road  after about 2.4 miles.
 
Island Creek road leads to a bear left at Cloras Point road after 1.1 miles.
 
Stay on Cloras Point Rd. until you reach 27304 Chloras point road. TR and go .6 mi to 3805 Clora Dorsey road. Go .7 miles to White fence and TR for .3 miles. to 4050 Clora Dorsey Road.
 
Mapquest will produce similar directions for 4050 Clora Dorsey Road, Trappe, MD.

Registration:      0900 to 1030 hours

Rules:                  This regatta is governed by the Racing Rules of the Island Creek Penguin Association, the Sailing Instructions, the Verbal Instructions conveyed at the Skipper’s Meeting, and the William H. Corkran Sailboat Racing Authority. 

 

Skipper’s Meeting:      Scheduled for 1100 hours

 

Courses:                 Will be determined by the Race Committee on the morning of the regatta depending on direction and velocity of the wind. Gusts of wind from the participants concerning course selection will be given appropriate interest by the RC.

 

Starts:                 A Three (3) Minute starting Sequence will be used. The starting line will be determined by the Race Committee prior to and announced at the Skipper’s

Meeting..

 

Protests:             Meet at the Choptank River Light, Midnight New Year’s Eve!

 

Trophies:               Provided by WHC Sailboat Racing Authority.
