2026 David Cox Penguin Frostbite Regatta (DCPFR)
The David Cox Penguin Frostbite Regatta (DCPFR) — previously announced as the UMPFR Sequel — will be sailed at Tred Avon Yacht Club in Oxford, Maryland on Saturday, November 14, 2026: a day of Penguin racing, a turn at the helm for the crews, and after-racing festivities, in the spirit of the traditional creek frostbite regattas.
- Check-in 0900–1100 at TAYC (102 West Strand, Oxford, MD)
- Skippers’ Meeting 1130, racing to follow
- Five races planned, including one crew race (typically the third) where the regular crew takes the helm; one completed non-crew race constitutes the regatta
- Entry fee: one food dish to share with the group
- Registration on ClubSpot via the event page
See the Notice of Race for full details.
